John Callender book of Forms, 1791.

A manuscript copy of forms to be used by lawyers in legal actions, with a list of "general rules respecting declarations and pleadings," prepared by John Callender in 1791. Callender apparently studied law in the office of Christopher Gore, who later became a U.S. senator and governor of Massachusetts (1809-1810).
